Grant scheme gets Frew’s thumbs-up

North Antrim MLA Paul Frew is urging community help organisations to apply for funding which could help them deliver projects in their area - and ease financial pressure on their resources.

He was backing the ‘Awards for All’ small grants programme which covers a wide range of activities.

Mr Frew explained: “I have worked a lot with the Broughshane Environment Waterfowl and Wildlife Trust (BEWWT) over the years, for example, and money from the awards scheme has been put to use in buying equipment for the local volunteers including a shed and a trailer which will help with their work in this area massively.”
