Tracy Wallace, Chair of the newly constituted Raglan Community Development and Renovation Society, spoke of their vision to develop the remaining 3416sq.ft. of space into 10 bespoke business/community use units and how this would equate to another £1million investment in the Ballymena South area.

Melanie Christie Boyle of Ballymena Business Centre spoke of the need for such units in the area in order to supply social enterprise and new business in the community, encouraging solutions through partnership and collaboration leading to sustainable community regeneration.

Tiziana O’Hara of Co-operative Alternatives completed the presentation by explaining how they are supporting the Raglan Community Development and Renovation Society, and the exciting plans to release a Community Share offer in the coming months in order to ‘kickstart’ these plans into action.
