Service users from the Antrim and Ballymena areas are asked to come along and have a say on the future of Northern Health and Social Care Trust mental health services.
A user group meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 2.30pm in the Boardroom, Montgomery’s Restaurant, Ballymoney Street, Ballymena.
All mental health service users past or present and their carers are welcome to come along to the group.
People have a chance to talk about what they feel is good or bad with services and where they would like to see improvements or changes that would help the recovery of service users and the experience of their families. Service User Groups are held in the Antrim/Ballymena, Mid Ulster, North Coast and East Antrim areas every three months.
Marlyn Grant, Service User Consultant, said: “Information I am given at the groups is shared with senior management at team meetings in mental health services.
“It is then used when considering the direction or services and changing how we do things to help the patient. I also inform the groups about new services and any changes that are taking place.”
For more information or to find out the dates of the group in your area contact Marlyn Grant on 028 9446 5211 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
