Based at Broughshane Street in the town, the Centre has been helping people affected by alcohol or drug misuse since 2000.

The facility grew from a group of people with family members who were misusing substances of various kinds.

The impact that volunteers have on the work at the Centre is invaluable. - Volunteers provide support in youth work, administration, counselling, befriending and the day to day running of the Centre.

And for those who volunteer at the Centre, the benefits are many.

Volunteers get the chance to meet a diverse range of people, make new friends, develop new skills, enhance your CV, and boost your confidence, all while helping others!

Currently, The Hope Centre needs centre supportworkers, administration assistants, fitness/sports instructors for adults and young people, and youth club supportworkers.

Those who volunteer will be provided with all relevant training required and be given on-going support from the Centre’s dedicated team.

If you are interested in attending or want to find out more information, phone the Centre’s volunteer co-ordinator on 25632726 or email [email protected]
