Information appeal after robbery bid in Ballykeel

The man took a delivery to Shona Green in the Ballykeel area at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, April 7, and was approached by two men dressed in dark clothes and balaclavas.

One man demanded that he hand over money. The second appeared to have been armed with a handgun.

Police say the food deliverer ran off, pursued by the would-be robbers for a short time, but he eluded them.

When the deliverer returned to his car, he discovered that a window had been broken and two mobile had been phones stolen.
