International Gala brings multi-culture to the Braid

A FASCINATING evening celebrating the diverse cultures living in Ballymena will be held at The Braid Arts Centre on March 13 at 8pm.

Ballymena Inter-Ethnic Forum will celebrate the many cultures living locally at the annual International Gala.

Open to all, the multi-cultural extravaganza showcases local and international talent in the borough and beyond.

This year’s event features dancers from the world renowned Saraswati Academy of Dance, London, who will perform a variety of colourful folk dances from India.

Also featured will be Argentinean, Flamenco, Tango and Ulster Scots dance and the pulsating rhythms of the La Onda Latino Band and much more.

This project has received financial support from the Community Relations Unit, OFMDFM, Ballymena Borough Council’s Good Relations Unit, Ballymena Arts Festival and Community Relations Council. Doors open at 7.30pm.
