Keigan thanks Ballymena for a ‘dream come true’

Five and half year old, Keigan, a pupil from Harryville Primary, suffers from cerebral palsy with left side hemiplegia, increased muscle tone and requires a special safety trike rather than a normal bike.

Keigan’s parents, Donna Moore and Thomas McIlhagga made an appeal in the Times to help raise the £1000 it would cost for the special safety trike.

Thanks to the generosity of local people and businesses, Keigan has received enough donations to purchase his special safety trike.

The brave little boy also has to wear a leg splint and has limited power on the left side of his body but this new bike will offer Keigan a great sense of freedom and give him a huge boost.
