The South Antrim MP has announced the beginning of his Christmas Charity Campaign to collect food and essentials for Antrim Homestart.

He is urging constituents to leave their donations at his Antrim Office.

Mr Kinahan said: “Christmas is a fantastic time of year, a time for family, generosity and goodwill. Foodbanks provide an invaluable service, and I am dedicated to ensuring that those most in need are helped. At this time of year, the struggles that many families go through are made all the more poignant.

“I am glad and very proud that we have such a wonderful community asset in Antrim Homestart. I know they will work tirelessly over the Christmas period to ensure that all families that come to them in need are given food and necessities to help them through.”

Mr Kinahan added: “I urge everyone to help share the wonderful spirit of this festive period by donating what they can to this worthy cause.

“My Antrim Office will be open to receive donations of food and essentials right up to the day before Christmas Eve. We are working with Antrim Homestart to ensure that your donations are distributed quickly and effectively to those in our community that need it most.

“For the many that I am certain will go above and beyond with their generosity this Christmas, I thank you and wish you a Merry Christmas.”
