Lady tractor drivers wanted by Scouts

A local scout group are looking for ladies who would like to get involved in a unique fundraising event.

The First Killymurris Scouts in Glarryford are holding their first ever Ladies’ Sponsored 10 miles Tractor Road Run on Friday, April 16.

The event kicks off with tractors leaving Killymurris Presbyterian Church car park at 6.30pm and it is being held in aid of Killymurris Scout Kenya Moot Fund.

Two explorer scouts are travelling to Kenya in July this year with a party of 200 UK scouts to take part in the first ever Scout Moot to take place in Africa.

Participants in Friday’s Tractor Road Run will get a certificate for taking part and free entry to a BBQ and refreshments at the end of the evening.
