Local MLA and MP sign petition to save Rosedale
South Antrim MP William McCrea and MLA Trevor Clarke have signed a petition in support of Rosedale Care Home.
Mr Clarke states “As a South Antrim MLA I felt it was my duty to support Rosedale Care Home and therefore at a previous Council meeting I had the opportunity to propose a motion to bring forward a petition in aid of Rosedale. Until ‘Transforming your Care’ have provided a better solution for supported living within the South Antrim area then, as a community we need to support the residents and staff and therefore with this petition available at the Old Court House, Civic Centre and Castle Gardens I hope that the community will also support Rosedale.”
Mr McCrea: “I wholeheartedly and unreservedly give my support to Rosedale Care Home and its full retention as I believe that they are providing an excellent service to the local community.”
