Local O2 franchise scoops national award

Local franchise business owners Nigel Thompson and Stephen Dickson were honoured at an O2 Award Ceremony in London recently when they were presented with the 2015 Franchisee of the Year award.

The pair now run four O2 franchise stores and a business centre in Antrim, Junction One, Downpatrick and Banbridge respectively.

The group has been in business for almost nine years and now employees almost 60 local staff.

Last year the business achieved the Investors in People Silver level award and now add the Franchisee of the year 2015 to their collection. T

he award was presented at an event celebrating 10 years of O2 Franchise by O2 CEO Ronan Dunne, in London.

Businessman Stephen, originally from Antrim and having studied at Antrim Grammar school, said: “It has given me great pleasure to be able to develop our O2 business in Antrim and Junction One.

“We have a great staff team who work hard to provide an exceptional service for the local community. I’d like to thank our customers for supporting our business and shopping locally.”
