Local query over Broadband rollout
The announcement of a £17m investment to improve the broadband infrastructure across Northern Ireland is “a welcome development”, Cr Tommy Nicholl says.
Speaking at a Ballymena Council meeting in The Braid, just hours after the announcement by DETI Minister Arlene Foster, Cllr Nicholl successfully called on Council’s acting Chief Executive to find out what areas of Ballymena, if any, would be included in the Superfast Rollout Programme, which will be delivered by BT and is specifically aimed at improving coverage of superfast broadband.
