Attending the fundraiser to show support will be charity fundraiser and Olympic Torch bearer Denis Broderick, as seen on Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

Staff are urging local residents to get involved and give their support by attending the event at the store or donating online through the week.

John Broderick said: “We have been serving the people of Ballymena for the past 5 years. The company’s 25th birthday gives us the opportunity to join with branches nationwide to celebrate the milestone in a meaningful way – by raising money for CHECT - and we hope the local community will get behind our fundraiser and show their support. We’re hoping to raise £500 so we’ll be pulling out all the stops, and we hope it will be a great event.”
