Make sure your planning priorities are heard

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council's Planning Team are continuing to gather your feedback to help them with the preparation of the new Local Development Plan through their new online questionnaire.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, reviewing the online questionnaire.

As part of the commitment to hearing the views of all local residents, this new questionnaire aims to gather your views in the early stages of preparing the new plan.

This is part of a larger consultation process regarding the Local Development Plan.

Visit the Planning section on the Council’s website www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/Planning to complete the questionnaire. The new Local Development Plan will cover planning policy and the development of land up to the year 2030.

It will cover key issues such as housing, retailing and employment.

The Planning Section recently held a number of workshops across the Borough and heard the views of a wide section of the community.
