Man arrested on drugs charges
Police in Ballymena charged a 42 year man with a number of drugs offences following a search in Thomas Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The man was charged with importation of a controlled drug, possession of a class C drug and possession of a class B drug.
Officers also seized a quantity of cash during the search.
The man is due to appear in Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday 21 August.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
