Bands from all over Co. Antrim are expected to attend the mini-12th parade in the village of Broughshane this evening (July8).
The start time for the parade is given on the Parades Commission website as 7.30pm from Whinsmoor Avenue to Raceview Road, Main Street, Rathkeel Road, Main Street.
Start Time of return route is expected to be 8.45 from James McNeill’s Yard, Main Street, Rathkeel Road, Main Street, Raceview Road, Whinsmoor Avenue.
Around 18 bands are expected to attend and the website lists them as:-
Ballycraigy Old Boys Flute Band, Ballykeel Loyal Sons of Ulster, Pride of the Maine Flute Band, Craigywarren Flute Band Ballymena, Sir George White Memorial Flute Band, Pride of the Valley Teenies Flute Band, Aughafatten Coronation Accordion Band, Pollee Accordian Band, Broughshane Pipe Band, Carnlough Flute band, Lisnamurrican Flute Band, Sir Edward Carson Memorial Flute Band, Vow Accordion Band, Ahoghill Loyal Sons of William Flute Band, Staffordstown Accordion Band, Crown Defenders Flute Band Cloughmills, Killycoogan Independent Accordion Band, Kells Sons of William Flute Band, Broughshane Lambegs.
