Minister called from Killymurris to High Street
Rev Colin McDowell, who has ministered at Killymurris Presbyterian since February 2003 is on the move to High Street, Antrim.
A native of Harryville, Colin and his wife Margaret quickly settled into the congregation at Glarryford with their daughters, Judith and Deborah.
Colin said they accepted the call to High Street “after a lot of soul-searching” and that they will be “very sad to leave Killymurris” which was Colin’s first ‘charge’ and as such will always retain a special place in his heart.
Colin said: “High Street in Antrim has about 300 families and in terms of attendance it is more or less the same size as Killymurris.”
