Montgomerys will host Cracker fashion show

WITH the leaves falling and the nights drawing in, Radio Cracker workers are busy revamping their broadcasting studio and planning various activities in aid of third world charities.

The next event on their list is a fashion show on Wednesday, September 28 (7.30pm) in Montgomerys, Ballymoney Street. Admission is £10 including light refreshments.

Shops taking part in the display include some of the best known in the town with names like Cuddys of Broadway who provided a stunning selection of very smart ladies wear at a previous show. Joining them are the long established firm of Spence’s of Castle Street who will be displaying an extensive range of quality men’s wear. Fred Funk and Two True will add variety to the occasion.

The largest exhibitor, Debenham, is also the ‘new kid on the block’ as far as trading in Ballymena is concerned and they are enthusiastic about showing their latest designer childen’s wear to prospective buyers on the hunt for early Christmas presents.

Fans and supporters of Radio Cracker will be glad to know that their local station has been notified that they will be receiving a RSL Licence enabling then ot be on air again from November 27 to December 24. The frequency has not yet been allocated but is expected soon.
