New season underway at Antrim Camera Club

ANTRIM Camera Club commences the new season, in what is now its 27th year, at Parkhall College, Steeple Road, Antrim on Wednesday, September 7.

The club will meet weekly each Wednesday night at 7.45pm until May 2012.

Antrim Camera Club as a range of members of all photographic abilities and interests.

Over the past few seasons the club continues to experience a growing membership.

Enthusiasm for photography is the only requirement you need for membership.

You don’t even have to own a camera (but it helps)!

There are many opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge through practical sessions, lectures and outings.

One third of the membership is female these days.The club always welcomes new members and you will be welcome whether you are an experienced photographer or a raw beginner.

The club programme will offer lots of learning opportunities and the chance to show and discuss your images.

The club mounted a “Birdies and Beasties” exhibition during the Greenmount Summer Programme and has previously exhibited in Clotworthy House Exhibition Centre, Antrim New Library, Greystone Library and the Castle Mall.

The club is affiliated to Northern Ireland Photographic Association (NIPA) and the East Antrim Photographic Union (EAPU).

Membership fee is £30 per year with a concession fee of £20 for OAPs, Unemployed and Juniors.
