No insurance woman fined

Caroline Morgan (51), of Culcrum Road, also had her licence endorsed with six penalty points after admitting the offence at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

The court was told that Morgan came to police notice at Cushendall Road on December 3.

Solicitor Liam Donnelly said Morgan went out the day after she was detected and obtained insurance.

Noting that the six points for this offence take Morgan to a total of nine points on her licence, DIstrict Judge Des Perry said: “She is going to have to be very careful.”
