Fourteen Business Administration students from Northern Regional College’s Trostan Avenue campus are hoping local people will join in their 10-mile sponsored walk in support of the ‘No More Traffik’ charity.
They have organised the event for Tuesday, April 1, at the ecos centre as part of their OCR Level 3 Diploma course.
Some of the students felt strongly that the issue of human trafficking needed to be addressed after hearing a talk on the charity and its work.
‘No More Traffik’ works in partnership with ‘Stop the Traffik’ as well as the PSNI to prevent and deter the ongoing problem of human trafficking in Northern Ireland.
If you would like to get involved in the walk, contact Lawrence Purdy at the College on 2563 6221.
