One Good Reason Action Day
2012 is the European Year of Active Ageing so Volunteer Now with the support of the North West Volunteer Centre is calling on all over 50s in Ballymena to join them for a great day out.
You can try your hand at volunteering and experience first hand how it can benefit you as an individual while making a real difference in their local community.
Participants in the day this Friday, September 28, at Broughshane House, Brogughshane, will be provided with free refreshments from 9.30am with the opportunity to meet other volunteers before they make their way to local organisations to take part in volunteering activities from 10.30am.
The day is free of charge and everyone will be made to feel welcome whether they come along by themselves or as part a group of friends.
