Paddy and Gail Millar unveiled as £1.9m lottery winners

At 11am, Lottery operator Camelot announced that Paddy and Gail Millar had scooped the prize.

Paddy (50), and Gail (49), who are both nurses, said that it was a “life-changing sum of money”.

The pair said that they had worked hard all their lives and had enjoyed happy lives up until now.

The couple set aside their anonymity and stepped in front of gathered media at a press conference at the Galgorm Resort and Spa in Ballymena.

The couple won the £1.9 million in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
