Paisley stands up for the Ballymena men
Ian Paisley MP has sent his support to the Ballymena rugby team for their Bateman Cup final against Garryowen in Dublin on Saturday.
He said:“I’d like to wish all the lads the very best of luck for their final against Garryowen at the weekend. The whole town is already extremely proud of what they have done so far and are completely behind them as they go into this weekend’s game.
“When they go down to Dublin they will have the support of every last Ballymena man and woman and let’s just hope they return with another piece of silverware to add to our town’s rich tradition and history.”
