Passengers sustain minor injuries in crash incident at Bus Station

TWO passengers sustained minor injuries and a bus driver was left ‘shaken’ last Tuesday morning when two buses collided at Ballymena Bus Depot.

All three persons were taken to hospital, it was confirmed by Translink. - The company also stated that a full investigation would be undertaken into the incident.

A spokesperson for the company said the collision was between an Ulsterbus town service and a Goldline vehicle at around 9.35am on Tuesday, March 1.

“Two passengers on the Goldline service sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital, along with the driver of the town service who was shaken,” the spokesperson said.

She added: “The health and safety of our passenger and staff is of paramount importance at all times and a full investigation will be undertaken.”
