Christmas is set to be officially switched on in Ballymena tonight (Thursday, November 14).

A Santa parade, street animation, reindeer and sleigh, children’s lantern parade, pipe band, choir and live band have all been organised by Council in partnership with the Tower Centre and Ballymena BID for the evening.

The Deputy Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Beth Adger, will switch on the lights at 6.45pm at the Harmony Hub in the town centre.

Festive family entertainment will get underway from 4pm at The Harmony Hub including face painting and balloon modeling.

There will be music and the ever popular ‘Santa Parade’ at 6.15pm.
