Petrol bomb attack was ‘hate crime’
Police are treating the petrol bombing of a house in Ballykeel as a ‘hate crime’.
A family escaped injury in the incident at a house in Ballymena’s Kintyre Park when a bomb was thrown through the front window at about 01:00 GMT.
It set the room alight, but people inside put out the flames and no-one was injured.
Two men wearing hooded tops were seen leaving the area shortly after the attack.
