Police seek attack victim

Police are appealing for a man who was attacked in the Rowan Gardens area of Ballymena on Saturday, August 22, to contact them.

Sergeant John Hamilton from Ballymena PSNI said the man came into a house in the area and told the homeowner that he had been attacked and damage caused to his van.

He said: “The man’s injuries did not appear to be serious and he drove off in his van before officers arrived. The man is thought to be from the Craigavon area.

“We are asking for the man involved to contact police. We would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident on Saturday, August 22, to contact police. You can call the non-emergency number 101 if you can help us with our enquiries.”
