Police seek witnesses to Grove Road assault

At approximately 1.30am Police received a report that a 16 year old female had been assaulted whilst in the carpark.

There had been disorderly behaviour involving a large group of people and the victim was punched to the stomach.

Police arrested a 24 year old male in relation to this assaulted. He was later released on bail pending further police enquiries.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who has any information to contact them at Ballymena on the non emergency number 101.
