Rallying round to help Reuben
Cullybackey College School Council and Sixth Form Formal Committee were proud to welcome Reuben Walls and his mum Claire into the college recently to present them with a cheque for £1200, which had been raised through various fund raising efforts.
Reuben was born at 30 weeks with no lower limbs and a shortened arm, but this has not dampened his spirit.
He was a hit with all the students and gladly entertained us with his driving expertise (which was much better than some of our Sixth Form students).
The College are delighted to be able to help adapt his home to make it much more accessible for him, and his “Wizzybug” electric wheel chair.(Image submitted)
