The parade will set off from Shane’s Street at 8pm then make its way through the town centre, Ahoghill Road, Neillsbrook, before returning to Shane’s Street.

As always the band is expecting a good turnout of local bands and some from further afield.

This marching season will be very busy for Randalstown Sons of Ulster with many parades to commemorate the 100th anniversary of The Battle of the Somme.

Over the winter months the band has been busy fundraising as they plan to unveil a new uniform at the 12th of July demonstration which is being held in Randalstown this year.

The band are always recruiting new members for drum core and flute section and anyone interested in joining is welcome to come along to Randalstown Orange Hall each Tuesday night at 8pm.

Meanwhile, police are advising motorists to expect traffic disruption in the Randalstown area on Saturday night from 7pm until around 11pm.

The town will be closed to traffic during the parade and a number of sign-posted diversions will be in place.

There will be parking restrictions in place in Randalstown and those attending the parade are asked not to park in the vicinity of Station Road or Beechmount area.
