Royal British Legion to parade in Ballymena for Diamond Jubilee

THIS Sunday, September 23, members of the Royal British Legion from all over Northern Ireland, and the Republic, will converge on Ballymena for a parade to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The parade will form up at Ardeevin shortly before 2pm where Her Majesty’s Lieutenant for Co., Antrim will inspect the gathering. The parade will march off towards the town around 2.05pm with the salute being taken at Wellington Street prior to a service in St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland.

After the service, Legion members will be attending a function at The Braid, hosted by Ballymena Borough Council.
