Security alert still ongoing
A security alert sparked in Ballymena on Sunday afternoon by a report of a suspicious vehicle is still ongoing, a police spokesperson has confirmed.
Police and Army Technical Officers were tasked to the scene in the Parkmore Close area following the report of a suspicious vehicle.
A number of houses in the area were evacuated and Parkmore Close, Parkmore Drive, Parkmore Heights, Upper Princes Street and the Cullybackey Road were closed to traffic and diversions set up.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said this morning (Monday) that the road and streets had been reopened except for Parkmore Close which remained cordoned off.
He confirmed that some residents remain out of their properties at this stage.
