Sentimental items stolen during Lettercreeve burglary

Police in Balllymena are investigating a burglary at a house in the Lettercreeve area of the town, in which items of sentimental value were stolen.

Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “It is thought that the house was broken into sometime between 2:30pm and 5pm on Tuesday, November 24.

“A number of personal items were taken during the burglary. Specifically, photo albums and memory cards storing family photos as well as some jewellery.

“These items have obvious sentimental value and little use for a criminal. If anyone finds photos or memory cards discarded in the vicinity, please let us know so that we can return them. Also, if you have any information on the burglary, including if you saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time, please call us on the non-emergency number 101.”
