Seven Towers are Champions

SEVEN Towers Pipe Band travelled to Dunoon in Argyll on the last Saturday in August and won the grade2 Cowal games championship also winning best drum Corp.

Their young drum major Lauren Abraham secured the junior drum major title. This comes two weeks after winning the world championship.

As a result of this success the band were crowned champion of champions in Scotland in grade 2 this comes alongside the All Ireland title and champion of champions in Ireland.

This brings the season to a close in what has been a fantastic year for the band led by Pipe major David Reid backed up by pipe sergeant Amos Gilmore and drum sergeant Alistair Hopper and the total commitment of all the members including the non playing members.

The band look forward to next year and the inevitable move to grade 1 to join company with the famous Field Marshall Montgomery Pipe band.
