Sharon celebrates 21st birthday in charitable style

Ballymena girl Sharon Caldwell, who has recently undergone treatment at the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, celebrated her milestone 21st birthday in a very unique way - instead of asking for gifts or money for herself, she asked that family and friends make a donation to leading cancer charity Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Ballymena girl Sharon Caldwell, who has recently undergone treatment at the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, celebrated her milestone 21st birthday in a very unique way - instead of asking for gifts or money for herself, she asked that family and friends make a donation to leading cancer charity Friends of the Cancer Centre. The selfless act raised an astonishing £800 and the money will be used by the charity to support other cancer patients and families across Northern Ireland.
