SLIDESHOW: Remembrance Sunday in Ballymena

Large numbers turned out once again despite inclement weather conditions to remember and pay respectful tribute to ‘The Fallen’ at the annual Remembrance service in Ballymena on Sunday.

Wreaths were laid at the cenotaph in the Memorial Park by members of the Royal British Legion, elected representatives, servicemen and women, and members of the public.

They gathered together to remember the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces at the special service which was particularly poignant in the approach to 2016 and the centenary of the Somme.
