Stafford returns to High Street
IMMEDIATE PAST Moderator, Rev. Dr. Stafford Carson is set to preach at High Street Presbyterian Church in Antrim on Sunday, September 26.
This promises to be a very special morning for everyone there as High Street is the place where Stafford was ordained and subsequently served as assistant from 1982 to 1984, during the ministry of Rev Lawrence Henry.
From there, he moved on to Kells & Eskylane, Carnmoney and the USA before coming home to First Portadown where he currently serves as Minister.
Stafford's sermon topic for 26 September will be 'Compassion for People' as spoken of in Psalm 41 and Luke 5:12-31.
Everyone is welcome to attend the service, which gets underway at 11am.
