Support our agricultural shows - urges Assemblyman
Local MLA Robin Swann is calling on “the entire community” to get behind the farming industry by attending the forthcoming Ballymena agricultural show.
The UUP Assemblyman for North Antrim says: “With an ever-growing list of restrictions being imposed on farmers as a result of BSE, FMD and European red tape, is it any wonder that our agricultural sector has the perception that it is the forgotten industry in terms of public support?
“Now the community has a golden opportunity to clearly demonstrate to the farming sector that it has the full backing of the Ulster public, especially in North Antrim,” he said.
