Teen for trial in GBH case

A BALLYMENA teenager has been sent for Crown Court trial on a series of charges, including causing grievous bodily harm to another man and having a kitchen knife in his possession.

Thomas Adam William Quigley (18), of Cushendall Road, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously causing GBH with intent to the man on February 28.

He is further charged on the same date with being armed with an offensive weapon with intent to commit an arrestable offence; assaulting a female; assaulting police; causing criminal damage to a kitchen unit; and heater; and making a threat to kill the alleged GBH injured party.

Quigley was returned for trial, in custody, to Antrim Crown Court on November 8, following a preliminary enquiry at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
