Teen in hospital after assault

Shortly before 10.30pm it was reported that a 16 year old male had been punched in the face. He was taken to hospital for treatment for an injury to his nose.

A 25 year old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He was interviewed and subsequently released on Police bail pending further enquiries.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Ballymena Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
