‘Together Tour’ is on the way to Ballymena

If you are involved in youth ministry or volunteer in youth work, then the ‘Together Tour’ date in Ballymena should be in your diary.

The tour is a series of 10 Regional Events held over 10 consecutive days across Ireland to launch, celebrate & unpack the themes of ‘Together.’ The Ballymena leg of the tour will be held at Wellington Presbyterian on Wednesday 22nd April from 7.30 -9.30pm and aims to bring together youth leaders from right across the local area.

The night will have light refreshments, input from authors, facilitated discussion and ‘Together’ books available to buy.

Organisers would love to see lots of local youth leaders join together to celebrate the launch of this book, but also gain more insight into the themes explored within it. The event is free to attend and no registration is necessary.

The ‘Together’ book contains a tapestry of context, a richness of experience and nuggets of wisdom and is based on the foundational landmarks of youth ministry such as discipleship, church, bible and prayer, while also pushing towards key signposts such as creativity, family and fun. The writings, stories and examples are grounded in local context and honed through years of experience.

A first read should remind you of what leading young people is all about and inspired to strive for more in your ministry.

But it might be the second, third or fourth reads that help you gain better insight for the youth group you co-ordinate, the teenager you meet with, the strategy you’re shaping, the event you’re leading or the parent you’re helping.

‘Together’ will provoke better youth ministry, equip more volunteers, and ultimately help young people in our country and beyond follow Jesus. That is the goal of ‘Together’ and if you are a youth leader of any description then you should get your hands on a copy of this book…and read it.

More information is available at http://www.youthministrytogether.com or on the Together page on Facebook. Books are available to purchase online, from most Faith Missions or the Scripture Union bookshop in Belfast for £6.99 per copy of £50 for a pack of 10.
