Tools worth £17,000 stolen

Police in Ballymena are appealing for witnesses following the theft of machinery and tools from a building site on the Larne Road.

Constable Andy Kirk said; “Sometime between 4.40pm on July 25th and 7am the following day a Greenmech tree chipper, a white/cream coloured generator and a petrol saw with a combined value of approximately £17,000 were stolen.

“We are appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles seen in and around the area of Kincora as we believe the suspects left via this location. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact us on 101 quoting reference 219 of 26/07/2016.”
