Tribute to generosity of the public in Ballymena
The Ballymena branch of Samaritans have thanked the people of the town and district for their generosity.
In a collection held in the town centre on Saturday, December 13, a total of £416.77 was donated.
A spokesperson for the group said: “This will enable us to continue our listening service for those who contact us when theyhave reached some point of crisis in their lives.
“We would encourage anyone who feels the need to talk to someone to phone us at either 25650000 or on 08457 909090. Calls are all charged at the local rate and conversations are confidential.”
