Uncle tries to ‘make dream come true’

So determined is Sherman Balmer to raise funds to take his nephew, Darren (25), to Old Trafford that tomorrow (Wednesday) he will head to Ballymena Leisure Centre to embark on a ‘30 miles in 30 days’ swimathon.

“Darren has cerebral palsy, he was born with it and he is a mad Man. U. fan,” said Sherman.

“I just want to make a dream come true for him and take him to see a match at Old Trafford”.

He added that an account, titled ‘Take Darren To Old Trafford’ had been set up at First Trust Bank on Wellington Street where sponsorship/donations can be made.
