Very important pooches at Tower Centre

Dogs Trust Ballymena will be bringing a collection of rescue hounds down to the Tower Centre in Ballymena on selected days during June.

The Teeshan Road based rehoming centre will not only be displaying pictures of several of the dogs at the centre looking for new homes, but will also be bring some VIPs (very important pooches) along to meet the public.

On the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th June (all Saturday’s) between 12-3pm the Dogs Trust team of two and four-legged members will be creating quite the scene and no doubt pulling in a crowd. Staff from the rehoming centre will also be on hand to offer advice to any existing dog owners.

Ronnie Milsop, Dogs Trust Campaigns Manager for Northern Ireland said:“We are delighted that Towercentre has allowed us to come and visit the public and hope that people will come up and say hello to the dogs. Fingers {and paws} crossed the doggie days out may even help find some new homes for some of our four-legged friends.”

Colette Lyness, Tower Centre centre manager, added:“As a dog lover myself I was so excited about the prospect of inviting Dogs Trust to visit Tower Centre. I’m sure the dogs will be a big hit with the visitors to the centre and their presence will continue to spread the word about the great work of the charity.”
