A Ballymena couple who were targeted in an attack which bears all the hallmarks of islamaphobia have described their attackers as ‘cowardly’.

Margaret Ibrahim along with her husband Amin Ibrahim, who is a Muslim, spoke to the Ballymena and Antrim Times in their Kintyre Park, Ballymena home after a petrol bomb attack.

They described how the blazing petrol bomb crashed through their front window in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
