‘Worship Night’ to aid Asia

The event on Saturday, June 27, at 7.30pm will feature Gordon Stewart from Asia Link as guest speaker.

There will be no admission fee but those who wish to give can do so using donation boxes in the Church Hall and Tea and coffee will be provided after the event.

Any funds raised will go to support a group of local Christians travelling to Asia in October to offer support and encouragement to people there.

One of the travellers, Hernan Farias from Ballymena, says: “We will be working in three different countries, India, Nepal and Bhutan. We are also going to see how the churches they work with are doing, specifically the ones in Nepal were the earthquake stroke. That’s the main reason for this worship event, we want to take help with us to the local Nepalise church”,
