How to take care of your body and mind during lockdown - Alone Together podcast

We have launched a new podcast to help you through the daily challenges we're all facing right now.

Alone Together: A Coronavirus Podcast answers your questions with expert insight, and shares the inspiring stories of those going the extra mile to support their communities.

It’s vitally important at the moment to keep both physically and mentally well, and in this episode we aim to give you some tips and ideas of how to do so whilst in lockdown.

On episode four, hosts Morven McIntyre and Matt Millard discuss how they are keeping well with dog walks and runs within the government guidelines of one piece of exercise per day.

To ease some of the public's anxiety concerns, Dan McLaughlin chats to Joshua Fletcher, psychotherapist, author and podcaster.

Joshua shares some tips for people who are feeling more anxious due to the lockdown. Tips include sitting with your emotions to process things and being kind to yourself.

Matt brings you some information on how to keep physically in shape and chats to Danny Peak, personal trainer and co-owner of Peak fitness hub in Birmingham.

Whilst gyms across the UK were told to shut down for the health and wellbeing of the public, Danny decided to think of innovative ways to keep his gym going. Peak fitness hub has decided to set up an online community for members offering online workouts, home workout programmes and nutritional advice.
