A whole different ball game as United host golf day!

Galgorm Castle Golf Club hosted the annual Ballymena United and Ballymena Utd Youth Academy Fundraising Golf Competition.

The event was a resounding success, testimony to the organisation by golf club staff and the culinary expertise of Chris Bell from The Eagle Restaurant who served up a top notch meal to all participants.

The golf itself was played in glorious sunshine and the quality was surprisingly high.

Glenn Ferguson, Norman Kelly , Joe McCall and Graham Kenna set the pace but were all out of the running for prizes which were allocated as below: Overall Winner –Steve Henry 41pts; Runner Up – David Watson 40pts; Front 9 - J Scullion; Back 9 – R Lennox; Longest Drive – Keith Brown; Nearest The Pin – F Hickinson .
